UBM Live has announced that Building Services, its annual event aimed at those working within building services industry, will not return in 2013 and beyond.
Fergus Bird, Group Event Manager at UBM Live Group, said: '2012 was a great year for our Building Services event and we were delighted to work with CIBSE on their annual conference.

'However, having reviewed all of UBM's activity for 2013 we feel that the Building Service sector is already covered extensively by our Built Environment products, including the world's biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment, Ecobuild.'

Building Services -The CIBSE Conference & Exhibition ran in October this year at London's Olympia, attracting building services professionals and suppliers from across the industry.

Mr Bird added: 'Moving forward in 2013 we have already planned major investment into Ecobuild and our Built Environment portfolio, offering a host of new features and content that will cater to those working across building services and the construction and design sector. Visitors to Ecobuild will benefit from a raft of additional quality education, features and content.'

CIBSE will reveal an alternative format for its Building Performance-focused conference for 2013 and beyond shortly, according to UBM Live.
