BSRIA to present at Chicago AHR Expo

BSRIA will be delivering global HVAC trends presentations at the 2018 AHR Expo in Chicago on Monday 22 and repeated on Tuesday 23rd January – combining an industry presentation event as a part of the AHR educational training programme – from 8:00-10:00am.

Raphael Chalogany will present at Chicago's 2018 AHR Expo.

This is a fantastic occasion to attend BSRIA’s unmissable presentations from its recognised global experts who will chart recent developments and opportunities in the global HVACR market. It is also a rare chance to network with such market experts in confidence.

After a welcome from BSRIA chief executive Julia Evans, the programme will run as follows:

Raphael Chalogany, BSRIA American research

What are the trends and winning technologies for data centre cooling and what are the latest development and new trends in the controls area?

Is the heating market likely to be affected by energy transition changes? What trends are occurring in the furnaces and boiler markets? How meaningful is the trend towards instantaneous water heating for the overall market?

Anette Meyer Holley, HVAC and refrigerant trends and forecast

Based on its latest research, BSRIA will be presenting the challenges and opportunities currently faced by the air conditioning market in the perspective of recent trends in sales and technology development.

What is the outlook globally and in the Americas context? Will the success of VRF continue when chiller markets are fighting back? What are the refrigerant challenges going forward?

Lone Hanson, Intelligent Building Controls and IoT

Exploring the changes in the BACS market and the progression of IoT, BSRIA is looking at various topics: are BACS still mostly installed as stand-alone solutions? What products and services are being integrated and converged? What is driving convergence? Where are the future threats to BACS coming from? Will new business models generate better revenue streams? Where will the data be stored? Cloud and Edge computing – which one to go for?

Krystyna Dawson, Urbanisation/digitalisatio /commoditisation – how are the mega trends impacting the HVAC product and distribution markets?

Buildings are no more units that are defined solely by a set of figures. Aligning with environmental, social and technology trends – buildings are becoming part of a wider ecosystem where they produce, store and consume energy for the benefit of the environment but also for the wellbeing of the end user.

BSRIA observes how products evolve, HVAC systems integrate and how mega trends start to impact the way products, systems and services are reaching the market.

Q & A, breakfast and one-to-one meetings with the experts.
