BSRIA recruits new principal consultant - residential

BSRIA has appointed Tassos Kougionis as its new principal consultant – residential in its Sustainable Construction Group.

BSRIA has appointed Tassos Kougionis as its new principal consultant – residential in its Sustainable Construction Group.

For the past five years, he has been technical manager of the Zero Carbon Hub. His work has focused on energy efficient homes, sustainability, health and well-being standards, policy development, research and innovation.

Tassos has a background in Civil Engineering with a specialisation in Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering (MEng) and Energy and Sustainability in Buildings Design (MSc). He has authored and co-authored a number of reports and publications dealing with policy development, buildings’ performance data analysis and construction good practice guides.

An expert in building physics, he has worked closely with local authorities, central government and major private stakeholders.
