Briggs & Forrester supplies m&e services for London office development
1 Bartholomew Lane is a new high quality office development with more than 79,000ft2 of flexible Grade A commercial office space.

The building structure is set out over 13 floors, based on a retained listed external facade over the lower six floors, with a new facade being provided to the remaining upper floors. The main reception is modelled on a double height space, based on a contemporary design incorporating unique features.

The specification for the offices is finished to a Category A standard, based on a fully flexible air-conditioned environment and has been designed to achieve a Very Good BREEAM rating.

Briggs and Forrester installed fully integrated mechanical, electrical, public health and central intelligent systems for client F&C Investments. Main contractor was Balfour Beatty Construction.

The systems incorporated both sustainable and renewable energy options, to offer current and future (CAPEX & OPEX) value solutions for the development.
