Staff from Briggs & Forrester took part in the annual Cycle 4 Cynthia charity event on 23 September to help raise money for The Friends of Cynthia Spencer Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
For the second year running the Briggs & Forrester team was the largest to enter the event, with 144 staff, family members and friends pitching in.
BBC radio and TV star Jo Whiley opened the event, before joining her family to ride alongside more than 1000 cyclists all united for the same purpose. Beginning and ending in Althorp Grounds, riders were given the challenging option to choose between five, 25 or 50 mile routes.
Briggs & Forrester took up the challenge given by Earl Spencer, who promised to reward the largest corporate team from Northamptonshire to take part with a drinks reception at Althorp.
Alec Sarjeant, from Briggs & Forrester said: 'Earl Spencer laid down the challenge to get the biggest team and we went for it. We have 144 riders. Some are amateur riders, and some are here for the first time just to have a go.'
The Earl has kindly offered to host a reception for the Briggs & Forrester team as a way of saying thank you.
Organisers are hoping the mass turnout for the event will help to raise round £50,000.
