BRE Certification launches Green Book Live

A green guide for specifiers and users of environmental products and services has been produced by BRE Certification and can be accessed at www.greenbooklive.com.
Green Book Live is a free online database designed to help specifiers and end users identify products and services that can help to reduce the impact on the environment.

It brings together listings from a number of organisations and delivers information on green products and services, some approved to stringent environmental requirements and others based on information provided by manufacturers and trade bodies.

Construction plays a significant role in the UK economy and the overall environmental impact is considerable. The correct identification and specification of products and services could significantly help to reduce the impact of the industry on the environment.

Green Book Live provides specifiers and end users with an opportunity to select products and services which demonstrate their commitment to environmental best practice.

The introductions to each section explain what (if any) approval processes have been applied in order for the products or services to be listed.

The BRE intends to expand coverage to include all areas of building and building products. Companies wishing to be considered for a listing in the book should contact Malcolm Anderson at BRE Certification T: 01923 664100, E: enquiries@brecertification.co.uk
