Last week HVR had the opportunity to learn about Zoomlock, a new braze free connecting process based on patented crimping technology.

Available from Greenmill Air Conditioning & Ventilation, Zoomlock is described as a one piece, fully concentric crimp which can be done easily whether up a ladder or in a restricted workspace.

It is said to install up to 77 per cent faster than brazing and also offers the advantages of reduced labour, less material and equipment, increased safety and flexibility and there is no need for hot work permits.

Greenmill is showing Zoomlock to customers in a series of launch events around London this month.
