BPEC achieves Awarding Body status

Provider of training and certifications services to the building services sector BPEC has been recognised by OFQUAL as an Awarding Body.
A statement from the organisation said: 'This presents BPEC an excellent opportunity to offer its network of approved centres, nationally accredited qualifications developed by the industry for the industry, which are designed to recognise the specific needs of employers across the building engineering services sector.'
Already approved by UKAS to offer a range of industry qualifications, BPEC claimed the achievement of Awarding Body status would provide further external recognition and allow BPEC to apply for accreditation of its qualifications.
BPEC CEO Paul Johnson added: 'The granting of Awarding Body Status is also good news for employers as it's a critical further step in BPEC's work aimed at providing the very best vocational training that meets their specific needs.'
