Bosch Commercial and Industrial Heating has launched a new training course on gas absorption heat pumps, targeting installers, engineers and specifiers.
Run by the company's team of technical training officers, the one-day course combines both practical and theory work to cover all aspects of the application of gas absorption heat pumps, including assembly, installation, fluing, control options, legislative requirements and typical suitability of what is a growing market in the UK.
Training takes place at Bosch Commercial and Industrial Heating's state of the art training and assessment academy at its headquarters in Worcester. The 100m2 facility is equipped with two fully-functioning gas absorption heat pumps, allowing delegates to benefit from comprehensive practical and theoretical training with working appliances.
Senior commercial trainer at Bosch Commercial and Industrial Heating, John Neal, said: 'Gas absorption heat pump technology is still a relatively new concept for the UK and with the emergence of new products and legislation requirements it's vital that specifiers and installers have access to the knowledge, skills and practical experience needed to use the technology to their advantage.
'Installers, engineers and specifiers will naturally ask questions regarding new technologies and legislation, so it's of great importance that they have access to training and technical support to help them feel comfortable discussing complex topics,' he added.
