Matthew Walton, the new chairman of the Combustion Engineering Association (CEA).
Mr Walton is the contracts manager for Industrial Boilers and will serve as chairman for a three-year term.
Mr Walton said: “It is an absolute privilege to be selected as chairman of the Combustion Engineering Association, which is the only UK registered educational charity that aims to improve the understanding and development of combustion and industrial boiler technologies.
“The reputation of the group goes back over 80 years, promoting the science and best practice of industrial boiler combustion engineering. I’m excited to be part of that heritage.”
Tim Davies, director of commercial and industrial sales at Bosch Commercial and Industrial, said:“Matthew will represent the CEA as an engineer who enthusiastically keeps up with emerging technology, specifications and developments within a constantly changing and challenging industry. I have total belief that he will do a great job in leading the charity as it moves into a bright future.”
