Balfour Beatty Engineering Services (BBES), one of the UK's largest mechanical and electrical building services businesses, announces top student awards from Liverpool Community College.
Michael Cunningham (pictured left) has won the 'Tony Barton Award' for the best student on the Foundation Degree course in Building Services Engineering and Austin Reid-Matthews (pictured right) was awarded the 'Best Student Award' for BTEC National Certificate (Building Services Engineering) block release.
Michael also won the 'Higher Technicians Studies Trophy' for Best Student in any higher education course covered by the Construction Curriculum. This award is given for outstanding technical and supervisory performance to the highest level possible.
Michael and Austin were presented with their awards last month at a ceremony held at the college's arts centre.
