Employees from Norwich, Wokingham, Preston, Erdington and field based engineers and sales employees joined their Warwick-based colleagues to man the telephones.

The team answered 2,311 calls during the charity's live entertainment show, which was aired on BBC1 and took £67,549 in donations.

Managing director of Baxi Commercial, Andrew Maclagan, kept everyone's spirits high by giving regular updates on progress throughout the night. He said: 'We are so pleased to have been able to raise so much for such a fantastic cause. Our employees worked extremely hard and we really did have a great time doing it.'
