B&ES makes regional management team appointment

The Building & Engineering Services Association (B&ES) has boosted its regional management team with the appointment of Steven Smith as regional manager for the West and South West of England.

Mr Smith was previously a training adviser with B&ES subsidiary Building Engineering Services Training (BEST) for six years, during which time he gained a thorough knowledge of the sector and the needs and priorities of employers – many of whom are association members.

Originally qualifying as an electrician with national contractor Balfour Kilpatrick, Mr Smith went on to serve seven years with electrical training provider JTL, and has considerable experience in facilities management and controls and hospital engineering.
