Aspen’s chief executive Adrian Thompson was praised by judges for “leading a company that has remained simple and pragmatic, whilst expanding both locally and internationally”. 

Mr Thompson’s team were  also recognised for “driving a new phase of growth…looking to expand into new territories, having already established themselves in the US market”.        

The Group has now been entered into the national BVCA awards.  

Speaking after the awards ceremony, Mr Thompson said: “This is a very proud day for the team, and marks another milestone on our successful journey with 3i since 2015. We remain focused and we are confident that our strategic model is scalable for continued growth in years to come.”  

As well as being an indicator of bold and authentic leadership, the award recognises achievements in the skilled execution of projects, including acquisition, international expansion and marketing innovation.
