Ask anything at Heat Heat Pump Month

Heat Pump Month opens next week with an Ask Me Anything online event where attendees can get any heat pump-related question answered by industry experts, while enjoying a sociable get-together with peers and colleagues.

The Ask Me Anything event on Thursday 17th June consists of a virtual room of hosted, themed ‘round tables’ where attendees can ask any question about heat pumps and can jump between tables according to their interests.

Topics include:
Getting into heat pumps; Specifying and system design (with Chris Davidson, Director, Genius Energy Lab); Procurement; Funding; Policy (with Bean Beanland, Director for Growth & External Affairs, HPF); Technical matters (with Laura Bishop, Chair, GSHPA); Hybrid systems {gas/solar, etc}, (with Ken Kneale, Sales Manager, Solid Energy); Grid connections; Permitted Development Rights; Heat networks, centralised plant and distributed heat pumps (with Neil Lawson, Head of Renewable Heat, ESB); MCS certification (with Ian Rippin, chief executive, MCS).

Manufacturers are joining in too, with Nick Huston from Daikin UK and Tony Lathey from Panasonic and Kensa Heat Pumps all available for one-to-one meetings and round-table discussion during the event.

“This is going to be an informative and fun experience for all involved.  We’re determined to offer much more than the conventional webinar, enabling attendees to gather in a highly sociable  online environment while learning from peers and practitioners,' said Graham Lock, founder, Low Carbon Homes, Organiser Heat Pump Month
