APHC celebrates plumbers for Quality Plumber Week 2022

The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) is inviting installers, manufacturers and consumers to get involved with Quality Plumber Week 2022 on 10-16 October and celebrate the achievements of the industry.

Organised by APHC annually, the week aims to raise awareness of the skills within the plumbing and heating industry whilst shining a spotlight on the many plumbing businesses that play a vital part in our communities.

This year, QPW has been organised in partnership with Installer and Premierline Business Insurance Brokers and aims to champion those who go above and beyond with their commitment to high standards of workmanship and unrivalled levels of customer service.

Like previous years, QPW is a celebration of the UK’s plumbers which is why APHC are asking installers to share their positive stories and photos online.

Installers are being encouraged to share their positive stories and post pictures of their quality installations on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn throughout the week using the hashtag #QPW22, to be in with a chance of winning prizes from top industry suppliers.

In addition to the online social media competition, APHC have also scheduled 4 webinars to take place across the week touching on topics such as net zero, building regulations, water regulations and business insurance, so it’s set to be an engaging week.

You can also show your support by joining the conversation on social media by using the #QPW22 hashtag, you can also download and share our official logo.

John Thompson, chief executive at APHC, comments: “There are thousands of excellent plumbers working throughout England and Wales, who provide exceptional service and advice to homes and businesses. On behalf of not only our members, but also every hardworking plumber, we want to recognise the skills and work they do.

“We are delighted to collaborate with our partners, Installer and Premierline, and to have the support from our supplier members to develop Quality Plumber Week and celebrate our industry”
