Amtech has appointed Gary Ross as director of BIM solutions.
He joins the company with a brief to spearhead its development of a new generation of BIM-ready products.
A specialist in BIM implementation, Mr Ross is chair of the BSRIA BIM network, chair of the West Midlands BIM hub for the Construction Industry Council and Government and is actively involved in the FM Soft Landings group.
Having trained as an engineer, he has used CAD and other design tools extensively in consulting and contracting companies.
He has also worked at Autodesk, providing technical assistance to customers using Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.
