AmbiRad celebrates record year

Gas-fired radiant heaters and ventilation systems manufacturer the AmbiRad Group has announced record sales for the financial year ending July 2010.
In the face of a worldwide recession, the company claims to have recorded its biggest ever turnover of more than £25 million, a 20 per cent increase year on year.
The company said: 'Following this sustained period of growth, the AmbiRad Group continues to push boundaries with a progressive strategy of acquisition and internal development.'
Its portfolio of heating companies includes Airbloc, Nordair Niche and Reznor and most recently, the acquisition of warm air heating specialists, Benson Heating. Following the Benson acquisition, AmbiRad said it restored sales and production to its Knighton facility, saving more than 40 jobs at the site.
The Group now employs more than 240 people and its products are used by commercial and industrial companies in over 45 countries.
