Altecnic launches iPhone app

The latest iPhone app from Altecnic is designed to help calculate the size of expansion vessels for a central heating installations.
The app, which can be downloaded free from the iTunes App Store, is an electronic version of Altecnic's credit card sized cardboard calculator given to engineers over the counter at plumbers and builders merchants for more than a decade.
The electronic version asks for the boiler output in kW or BTU and the radiator type, and calculates the size of pressure vessel required in litres for either a 5m, 10m or 15m head.
