Alpha welcomes new additions to sales team

Alpha Heating Innovation has welcomed three more members to its sales team, with Anne Wraith in the North East, Colin Chappell in the Midlands and South Wales and Lee Mumford working in parts of London.

Ms Wraith brings with her a varied career in the heating and energy industry. She most recently worked for a commercial boiler manufacturer, mainly focusing on consultants and specifiers. Prior to this, Ms Wraith worked for various energy providers.

Ms Wraith also has experience with local authorities and social landlords from her time at Mark Group, where she provide solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce heating costs for homes. Ms Wraith also advised factory and warehouse managers on using renewables such as solar.

Commenting on her new role, Ms Wraith stated: “The variation of the technical sales role is what attracted me to Alpha initially. I liked the idea of working with both merchants and installers, giving me a chance to see both angles. I’ve been really enjoying the job so far.”

Mr Chappell has joined Alpha after another employee, Neil Saunders, had told him about the role. Mr Saunders had previously worked with Mr Chappell while he was at City Plumbing. Prior to this, Mr Chappell sold plumbing tools through merchants at Dickie Dyer, where he worked for four years.

Mr Chappell brings with him over 18 years of experience in various industries worldwide, primarily selling technical instruments and pressure metres.

He stated: “I really like that Alpha has a family-owned quality to its business. Even though it’s a well-known brand, it feels like a supportive environment and I was keen to be a part of a company with this type of culture.”

Finally, Mr Mumford has joined Alpha, bringing with him experience of working with both boiler manufacturers and plumbers' merchants. Most recently, he worked in a similar role as a sales manager for a manufacturer of both commercial and domestic boilers.

Before this, Mr Mumford had been working for Plumbase since the age of 15, working his way up to branch manager and managing branches in Croydon and Stockwell.

Mr Mumford commented: “I wanted to work for Alpha because I’d heard about the new boiler it was bringing to the market. The E-Tec is the smallest combi in the range and yet it still provides exceptional hot water outputs. I had also heard good things about the company from installers and other Alpha employees, so I’m very happy to have now joined the team myself!”
