Albion appoint first material scheduler

Albion Valves (UK) has created a brand-new role to further assist distributors, contractors and consultants within the industry.

Sanwal Amjed, new material scheduler / estimator for Albion Valves.

The recent appointment of Sanwal Amjed as material scheduler / estimator will be a valuable resource to support Albion’s network of distributors and their customers, and will ensure that Albion’s service levels are witnessed right down the supply chain.

Mr Amjed has recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with an engineering degree, and has worked within a customer service role for a number of years.

In his new role he will be supporting building services projects by reviewing schematic drawings and providing a bill of materials which will ensure a quick quote turnaround. Moving forward, his role is expected to expand into other technical aspects.

Mr Amjed said: “I am looking forward to starting my career at Albion with such a diverse role and a great team around me. I am optimistic about how the role will evolve and the challenges that lie ahead. I think the introduction of this role will add value for the whole supply chain and I am excited to be a part of this.”

David Keys, managing director, added: “The material scheduler / estimator role is a new position at Albion and everyone in the team is delighted to have Sanwal on board. Having technical assistance in-house will allow us to process schematic drawings and generate Albion’s offering more quickly than we have ever been able to before, this will have benefits for everyone involved with the project.”
