The award comes less than two weeks after winning the same title of Manufacturer of the Year, at the Yorkshire Post Business in Excellence Awards.
The CIBSE Yorkshire Awards, which were held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, celebrate the best in mechanical and engineering building services in the Yorkshire region, with accolades going to a variety of different people and projects who have delivered exceptional work.
The event recognises the passion, pride and progress of individuals and organisations from the Yorkshire area and provides a platform for key industry players to celebrate their business successes and congratulate their teams.
Darren Farrar, marketing manager for Airedale International, said: “Winning this award from CIBSE Yorkshire, who work with so many other accomplished engineering firms in our region, is significant to us, especially having recently won the regional business award from the Yorkshire Post. We are very proud to receive this recognition in our field.”
The award specifically celebrates the launch of AireWall, Airedale’s precision computer room air handling unit, developed for use in the data centre market.
Mr Farrar continued: “There is so much happening at Airedale at the moment. This year alone we have seen the launch of AireWall, the introduction of European Data Centre Sales Team and the launch of Azure R32 range and it doesn’t stop there. With our continual investment into research and development there is much more to come.”
