ADEY Professional Heating Solutions, the magnetic filtration specialist, has been declared a carbon neutral business for the seventh consecutive year.
Working with environmental consultancy firm, The Carbon Footprint, ADEY achieved the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) by planting 150 trees in the West Midlands and successfully offsetting 150 tonnes of generated CO2.
The assessment, which was conducted from 1 November 2011 - 31 October 2012, recognises all stages of carbon management including carbon reductions and carbon neutrality.
Carbon Footprint's senior environmental consultant, Rebecca Honey, said: 'We began working with ADEY Professional Heating Solutions in 2007 to develop its environmental credentials. ADEY has since demonstrated its commitment to the environment and has also put in place programmes to continuously improve its performance and services that makes it a leader in its field.'
