Managing director Kelvin Stevens has unveiled a significantly strengthened Board which he believes will take the British manufacturer from strength to strength in future years in the UK and overseas markets.

Mr Stevens becomes chief executive, while incoming John Vaughan steps into the managing director’s role from his position as national sales director at PTS. He has been at PTS for nine years and prior to that he had worked at Plumb and Parts Center for more than 20 years.

In a further high level appointment, Dean Brown has been appointed as the company’s new finance director. With extensive heating industry experience in similar roles, including 17 years with BSS and Travis Perkins groups, the appointment not only gives ADEY specialist sector financial expertise of the highest calibre, but a wealth of broader industry knowledge.

Finally, ADEY’s in-house lawyer, Edward Davies, who has served in a non-executive director capacity and been involved with the business since its inauguration 11 years ago, becomes chairman. Mr Davies was previously a senior partner at Cheltenham’s largest law firm before joining ADEY full-time.

Mr Stevens said: “I’m delighted with the top level restructuring within the organisation and believe we now have in place an incredibly strong, experienced and dynamic senior management team with the necessary ability and drive to take the business forward and deliver the ambitious plans we have here at ADEY over the coming years.”
