Adey announced as National Business Awards finalist

Leading water treatment manufacturer, Adey, has been short-listed in two categories of the 2017 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. The Cheltenham-based business has been selected as a finalist for the Lloyds Bank Mid-Market Business of the Year Award and the Samsung Innovation Award.

John Vaughan, Adey’s chief executive, said: “We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for these prestigious awards and to be recognised on a national platform alongside so many other exciting and innovative businesses from around the country.

“Adey has come a very long way since it was set up and its success is testament to a talented and highly-skilled team of people who have made the business what it is today. Since pioneering magnetic filtration technology more than a decade ago, Adey has changed the way that household heating systems are looked after. We provide heating installers with simple but effective tools that are proven to protect against corrosion that damages heating pipes and boilers. These products are installed in more than four million UK homes, reducing household energy bills, carbon emissions and maintenance costs.”

The finalists were chosen from the hundreds of businesses that entered or were nominated across 18 award categories. They will now prepare to give live presentations to an expert judging panel who will decide the overall winners.

Continuing the celebration of Best of British Ambition, this year’s prestigious award ceremony will take place on Tuesday November 14 2017, at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, where the winners will be revealed.

Conor McGinn MP recently hosted a reception for the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards at the House of Commons. This enabled finalists to meet fellow entrants, the National Business Awards advisory board members, judges and sponsors of each category.

Tom Broughton, group brand director of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards, said: “Given the economic uncertainty over the past year, it is inspiring more than ever to see British businesses prosper. Through a thorough and comprehensive judging process, this year’s selected finalists demonstrate exceptional quality and diversity across a range of business sectors within the UK. We are now looking forward to the next step of the process and meeting some of the finalists face-to-face.”
