Vent-Axia, the heating and ventilation unit manufacturer, has been put on the market with a price tag of £200 million.
As reported by the
Business Sale Report, DC Advisory Partners has been mandated to manage the sale of the business on behalf of Vent-Axia's owner, private equity group AAC Capital Partners.
Vent-Axia Group Ltd reported sales of £47.13 million for the year ending 31 July, 2010, with pre-tax profits of £8.25 million. The turnover has, however, fallen from £57.99 million since 2008.
Based in Crawley, the firm says it sells half a million units each year. In April, the company announced the opening of a new technology showroom with a BPEC-approved training centre at its headquarters, alongside launching a new range of handling units with heat recovery technology and an A+ energy class rating.
Vent-Axia was formed 75 years ago with the invention of the first electrically operated window fan. The company designs and makes bespoke ventilation and heating products for residential, commercial public sector and industrial clients.
