The fastest in its class: The Impact Drill GSB 16 RE Professional from Bosch
The new GSB 16 RE Professional from Bosch offers the fastest drilling rate of all 1-speed impact drills in the 750-watt class. Proof of this has been provided by the independent testing institute SLG Prüf- und Zertifizierungs-GmbH, which has discovered that this tool has an approximately 30 percent faster drilling rate on average than other tools in this class.

In addition to its high drilling power, the GSB 16 RE Professional also impresses with its extreme robustness. This is thanks to its stacked construction and metal gear housing.

The compact impact drill, which weighs only 2.2 kilograms, has many advantages that enable easy operation and more convenient working: ergonomic handle with softgrip, accelerator switch with integrated setting wheel for the optimum drilling speed, the same power and speed in forward and reverse rotation, overload clutch, 'Auto-Lock' keyless chuck and ball-joint grommet.

The professional blue power tools from Bosch traditionally offer a high level of user protection. A new example of this is the innovative auxiliary handle on the GSB 16 RE Professional, which offers a perfect combination of safety and convenience. Twelve different grip positions can be set with minimal effort. The double locking mechanism ensures that the handle does not slip during work.

The new impact drill will be available at Bosch stockists from July 2009 onwards at the recommended retail price of £89.00 ex VAT.

Customers can register their tool for a three-year warranty online by visiting www.boschpowertools.co.uk .
