Teamwork message delivered in HVCA and ADCAS publication

In a bid to foster better teamwork between mechanical services contractors and ductwork specialists engaged by them as sub-contractors, the trade associations ADCAS and HVCA have published a second edition of its Working Together document.
Teamwork message delivered in HVCA and ADCAS publication
The publication highlights the growing importance being placed on good teamwork, partnering and collaboration in the construction process.

'It is pleasing to be able to report that, in the six years that have passed since the publication of the first edition of Working Together, ever-increasing emphasis has been placed on a co-operative approach to the creation of new buildings and the restoration, refurbishment and improvement of the existing building stock', said Malcolm Moss president of the Association of Ductwork Contractors and Allied Services (ADCAS) and Kevin Talbot chairman of HVCA Ductwork Group in the document's Foreword statement.

The statement added: 'It is fitting, therefore, that the second edition should itself be a product of collaboration - in this case between DWG and ADCAS which, since entering into a Partners in Excellence agreement in the autumn of 2008, have identified a number of issues and initiatives they have been able to take forward together.'

Copies of the publication can be downloaded at www.hvca.org.uk.
