Stiebel Eltron wins German Design Award

Stiebel Eltron’s stand at ISH 2019 has received the Excellent Architecture award in the Exhibition category of this year’s German Design Awards.

The 1,300 square metre booth, which was totally redesigned for the 2019 expo, embraced Stiebel Eltron’s three key themes for the ‘Clear Focus’ campaign; hot water expertise, renewables and futureproofing new buildings.

The stand incorporated separate portals for each element of the campaign with a unique modern design throughout. This was supplemented by a range of product examples and technology for visitor engagement.

The ‘German Design Award’ honours innovative products and manufacturers which are trendsetting in the German and international design landscape.

Frank Jahns, managing director of Stiebel Eltron’s sales division, said: “With our new booth design and the clear focus concept, we were able to inspire our partners and customers. We held thousands of high-quality discussions – which often began with visitors saying how impressive the new Stiebel Eltron exhibition booth was.”

Mark McManus, managing director of Stiebel Eltron UK, commented: “A key part of our business is being at the cutting-edge of design and innovation, and this award shows that this spirit permeates all elements of the company. The stand exemplifies these principles and provided the perfect backdrop from which to hold great discussions and demonstrate our diverse product line.”

The international jury which decided the winner of the award explained their reasoning by adding: “The company's guiding ‘Clear Focus’ campaign is comprehensibly reflected by the straightforward, clear and pleasantly unagitated booth design. It appears clearly structured and shows the products in a high-quality environment. Formally and in terms of content very well solved.”

Claus Kroll-Schlüter, head of marketing at Stiebel Eltron, added: “Of course, we are very pleased to receive the German Design Award. It shows that the months of work by the entire team have paid off. We are proud of the result.”
