Specialist HVAC company announces new MD for next phase of growth

Industrial HVAC solutions company adi Climate Systems has announced Mike Sweet as its new managing director, signalling a renewed focus on strategic growth and sector expansion.

Mike joined the company as commercial director last September and has already made a significant impact, sharpening its growth strategy, strengthening client focus and supporting its move into new markets. As Managing Director, he will now lead the company’s long-term business plan and strategic direction, aligned to the wider adi Group vision.

As part of the transition, outgoing managing director Mike Slattery will move into the role of commercial director, continuing to support key client relationships and front-end commercial opportunities.

Paul Smith, chief executive of adi Group, said: “Mike Sweet has brought real clarity, energy and ambition to adi Climate Systems. Under his leadership, we see major opportunity to broaden our work with existing clients, unlock new sector opportunities and enhance the company’s strategic impact across the Group. “We are also pleased that Mike Slattery will continue to contribute his deep market knowledge and commercial expertise in his new role.”

adi Climate Systems supports clients in reducing energy consumption, lowering carbon emissions, improving operational resilience and saving money through engineered HVAC solutions, technical delivery and aftersales service provision.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Sweet said: “I’m incredibly proud to be stepping into the role of Managing Director at such an exciting time for adi Climate Systems.

“The company has a strong reputation, a talented team and a clear opportunity to accelerate growth across key sectors. My focus will be on expanding our market presence, strengthening client partnerships and continuing to deliver technically excellent HVAC solutions that help customers reduce energy and cut carbon.
