S I Sealy announces promotions

S I Sealy & Associates has promoted Chris Crookes to electrical technical director and Daniel Madden and Matthew Pickford to associate directors.
Former electrical associate director Chris Crookes has been with S I Sealy for over 14 years. He is currently leading the electrical design review of the medium, term works at the Houses of Parliament, in addition to acting as project director of the refurbishment of Keele University's electrical infrastructure.

Daniel Madden is a mechanical engineer with 12 years' experience and has been with S I Sealy for eight years. He has worked on a number of high profile projects including the innovative Think Low Carbon Centre at Barnsley College. He is also leading the mechanical design review of the medium term works at the Houses of Parliament.

Matthew Pickford joined the company in 2000 for a placement year as part of his building services engineering degree. His clients include JD Sports and he is currently advising Sir Paul Smith on the extension to his London head office.

Both Daniel and Matthew are low carbon consultants and Matthew is also a low carbon energy assessor.

David Stafford, S I Sealy director, said: 'As part of our continuing desire to provide high quality engineering design as well as strategic advice to future-proof clients' buildings, we are restructuring to increase the number of senior engineers we employ, whilst reducing the number of junior engineers. The promotions of Chris, Daniel and Matthew are part of this strategy.'
