Sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric and with hundreds of building services professionals tuning in, this year's conference is set to be a big one.
During the national conference virtual event, BESA has a number of roundtable discussions offering in-depth knowledge in a more intimate setting with the sponsor, speaker and panellists.
The first roundtable discussion is sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric and raises the question, What Next for offices? People are returning to offices, but many workers are now opting to work flexibly, splitting there time between the office and home, it looks like working from home seems to be here to stay. It will be presented by Mitsubishi’s head of marketing and sales strategy, Philip Ord, and speakers include Graeme Fox, head of technical at BESA and Nathan Wood, chair of BESA Health and Wellbeing in Buildings Group.
Mitsubishi Electric’s head of sustainability for UK and Ireland, Martin Fahey will also be speaking during the event, as well as head of product and strategy & delivery, Mark Grayston.
In the ‘Delivering net zero – can it be done?’ panel on 3rd November, Mr Fahey will be discussing the potential for the UK to deliver on its Net Zero target, and the solutions needed to make it possible.
On the 4th November, Mr Grayston will be presenting ‘Embodied carbon in the HVAC lifestyle’, a session on embodied carbon and its role in reducing the environmental impact of buildings in the face of the climate crisis.
