Obituary: Roger Taylor

Roger Taylor, operations and IT director of Space Airconditioning, has died following a stroke.
'Roger's connection with Space Air began in 1984 when he worked for County Business and sold us our first Apple computer,' said Neil Afram, Space Air's managing director.

'Roger joined Space Air as operations and IT director in 1991 and spearheaded the introduction of the company's Filemaker system, which is still operating today.'

Roger was well known for his cheerful disposition, his love of golf, music and theatre, but he also had a passion for efficiency in business. He was the architect of the company's customer relations management system and the logistics/product distribution systems. He was also the author of Space Air's ISO 9001 operating procedures. He is survived by Annette, his wife.

This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
