The latest HEVAC Specialist Section - the Demand Controlled Ventilation Group (DCVG) - has elected Marcus Lightfoot as its chairman.
The DCVG was established as a new HEVAC section in late 2011, with the aim of promoting energy efficient ventilation while protecting indoor air quality.
HEVAC is part of the Federation of Environmental Trade Associations.
Mr Lightfoot chaired his first meeting of the group on 14 March, when the group agreed as its priority gaining recognition of DCV as a New Technology category under SAP Appendix Q.
Mr Lightfoot has experience across Europe in ventilation solutions for dwellings and schools. He is currently employed by Ubbink (UK) as a ventilation consultant.
