Vent-Axia has appointed Joanna Smith as product marketing manager with the responsibility of targeting the residential retrofit sector.
She was previously employed by merchant PTS (Plumbing Trading Supplies) where she worked in a number of roles over seven years, including installer marketing manager. She also has experience gained as a senior marketing executive at photographic retailer Jessops.
Vent-Axia marketing director Lee Nurse said: 'Joanna's appointment is a key building block in our future business strategy, helping us to strengthen our position in the refurbishment market. We hope to utilise her distributor experience by improving communication through the channel, demonstrating to our customers how we can help them succeed using Vent-Axia products and systems.'
