Logic Certification has been recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual), together with partner regulators in Wales (DCELLS) and Northern Ireland (CCEA), as an organisation able to deliver qualifications under the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
The QCF is a new way of recognising skills and qualifications enabling learners to gain qualifications at their own pace along flexible routes and replaces the existing National Qualifications Framework across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Logic Certification can now develop new qualifications for the building services engineering Sector under the QCF, delivered through its approved centres located throughout the UK.
Logic Certification managing director Kevin Budd said: 'Delivering qualifications under the QCF is a natural progression for the company, standing Logic Certification in good stead to cement its position as a leading course and assessment provider for the Building Services Engineering (BSE) sector. This is not only an exciting time for Logic Certification, but also our approved centres.'
All existing assessments, such as gas ACS and Oftec Oil courses, will still be available through Logic Certification, however as more qualifications are developed under the QCF, Logic Certification will be ready to meet future changes, plus the current requirements of the Building Regulations Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) and Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS).
Logic Certification offers training and assessment packages at its 170 centres, certificating courses in the traditional areas of Gas ACS, Oftec Oil and Part P, as well as developing industry leading packages for renewables technologies; including solar thermal hot water, ground and air source heat pumps and solar photovoltaic.
