Leading industry bodies show support for ACR Show

Located at the very heart of the UK, at the premier National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, The ACR Show is the ONLY national exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors.

ACR Show organiser Datateam Business Media is delighted to announce that the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) has confirmed plans to host its 2016 Conference at the Show. IOR secretary, Miriam Rodway said: “This is a great opportunity for both IOR members and those who do not know the Institute of Refrigeration to explore a range of topical technical issues.”

Located at the very heart of the UK, at the premier National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, The ACR Show is the ONLY national exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors.

The show’s decision to include the heat pump, heating and ventilation sectors has won the backing of the Building & Engineering Services Association (B&ES). B&ES president, Andy Sneyd said: 'In addition to providing an important networking opportunity, the ACR Show 2016 will allow all members of the supply chain to view the latest products and to stay abreast of the latest technological innovations. The Building & Engineering Services Association is therefore delighted to pledge its support to this significant event in the industry’s calendar.”

The Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA) has also voiced its support for The ACR Show, particularly with regard to the new format. FETA is the recognised UK body representing the interests of over 400 manufacturers, suppliers, installers and contractors within the heating, ventilating, building controls, refrigeration and air conditioning industry to policy makers and the wider public.

FETA president, Terry Seward said: “FETA is delighted to be associated with the ACR Show, the only UK exhibition dedicated to the HVACR sector. We are sure that the Show and its format will provide essential opportunities to all that are present whether exhibitor, visitor or other stakeholder and the seminar programme will provide important information across the sector we wish the ACR show 2016 every success.”

Commenting on REFCOM’s continued support of the Show, its secretary Stephen Crocker said: “Refcom is a well -known industry body and is a long-standing supporter of the ACR show. It is a key event for the industry, raising awareness and standards by bringing together all relevant parties to highlight and discuss industry and technological developments.”

Besides a fantastic line up of exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies, will be an informative and topical seminar programme in three main seminar theatres - the Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Theatre; the Refrigeration & Cooling Theatre and the Training & Careers Theatre, sponsored by Toshiba Carrier.
