Itho Ventilation was launched in the UK this month, to help distribute energy-saving ventilation systems made by its Dutch parent company Itho B.V.
General manager Derek Guy heads up a team of eight sales and technical employees, which is based at Itho Ventilation's new Burton-On-Trent's offices.

Itho's products will be distributed in the UK from two manufacturing plants based, in Etten-Leur and Schiedam, in the Netherlands.

A spokesman for Itho Ventilation said no other ventilation firm in the UK met such a high level of energy efficiency.

Itho Ventilation offers 'SAP Appendix Q Eligible' mechanical extract ventilation (MEV) and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) for the domestic market. These products comply with system 4 of Part F (Means of Ventilation) and Part L (conservation of energy in buildings) of the Building Regulations. The firm's products exceed the energy efficient ventilation standards set by the Code for Sustainable Homes.

On April 16, Itho Ventilation celebrated its launch at London's Kew Gardens.

Before Itho Ventilation was established, Italian-based firm Vortice had distributed Itho B.V.'s products in the UK. Derek Guy is the former general manager of Vortice.
