Integral relocates refrigeration business headquarters

Integral UK has relocated the headquarters of its national refrigeration business to new, purpose-built premises in Birstall, Leicester.

Integral UK has relocated the headquarters of its national refrigeration business to new, purpose-built premises in Birstall, Leicester.

Situated just a few miles from the former premises in Thurmaston, the company says the new, state-of-the-art facility demonstrates its long-term commitment to serving its customers in the UK refrigeration sector and it is investing in a long-term lease.

In addition, the building brings the refrigeration teams together under one roof, with excellent transport links to all parts of the country.

The move from the former Bridge Park Plaza site took place at the end of June, with relocation of the company’s national call centre and service desk carefully co-ordinated to ensure a smooth change-over and continuity of service for customers.

Alongside the move, Integral is investing in the latest phone and IT systems to improve communication with field staff and customers and assist support operations.

The building will also be the home of Berkley Controls, a subsidiary of Integral UK, which specialises in building control and energy optimisation. The building’s indoor environmental control systems –  which include air conditioning, heating and lighting – will be controlled and optimised by Berkley Controls, to demonstrate Integral’s capabilities and expertise in this increasingly important field.

To mark the opening, Paul Salmons, Integral UK finance director, and Luke Marriot, Integral Refrigeration design manager, cycled from the company’s Bristol head office to the new Leicester office.

Managing director Bryan Glastonbury said: “Since acquiring the Leicester-headquartered refrigeration business last year, we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure our teams have the resources and structure to provide the outstanding service demanded by our customers. The move is both a culmination of this work and a springboard for the future.”

He added: “With the superb new headquarters, we have the right foundation in place to build a major UK refrigeration business.”

Integral Refrigeration’s new headquarters is at 1-2 Geoff Monk Way, Birstall, Leicester, LE43BU.
