Intaeco has become the new kid on the renewable energy block and is supplying heating and plumbing products to those keen to go green.
Based in Staffordshire,
Intaeco's team has 20 years experience in plumbing and heating equipment manufacture. Intaeco's sister company is Intatec, the anti-scald tap, shower and valve specialist. The Intaeco range includes equipment for underfloor, solar, geothermal and water saving applications.
Cynthia Fisher, Intaeco's commercial director said 'We have seen an increased demand from customers for products that will reduce carbon footprints, enough for us to commit a significant investment to developing this brand new enterprise.
Intaeco's managing director Stuart Gizzi said 'We see potential problems within the industry that Intaeco's product range and information can alleviate.
'It is a relatively new and emerging market and the danger is that installers could unwittingly fit component parts that are designed for use in traditional heating systems, rather than the different specifications demanded by more environmentally aware systems.
'A good example of this is solar, where water temperatures can far exceed those generated by traditional heating methods, requiring special components with a higher temperature rating.
'Our objective is not just to supply, but also to inform and educate'.
