Renewable heating company Innasol has launched the Innasol Academy, which it describes as a 'groundbreaking' education and training initiative.
Innasol has grown rapidly since October 2010 in response to huge demand for high quality renewable heating systems and the training courses it conducts have played a major role. More than 1,000 delegates are due to complete courses at its training centre in Essex this year.
Now, with Innasol boosting its product range, its sales and distribution partners experiencing bumper demand and the Government's Renewable Heat Incentive extending to households in spring 2014, the company is boosting its renewable energy training. It is investing in the latest technology, hiring experts to lead enhanced programmes and building a new training centre with additional rooms.
Focusing on Innasol's two core product ranges - biomass boilers and air-source heat pumps - the intensive one-day sessions will cover technical sales and product knowledge, installation, service and maintenance, commissioning and control and advanced bespoke training. More general modules relevant to the renewables industry such as management and sales will be added. Courses are flexible and designed to equip delegates with CPD points.
Innasol expects more than 2,000 trainees to pass through Academy doors in 2014, twice this year's predicted total.
The company's national partner network develops shared purpose and favourable results for both the company and its associates throughout the UK. Partners are required to be approved and certified under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, ensuring systems meet MCS quality assurance criteria and installations are eligible for UK Government grants under the Renewable Heat Incentive.
