The 2015 HVR awards took place last night at the 5* Chelsea Harbour Hotel hosted by Paul Sinha, best known for his role in popular game show, The Chase.

Paul McLaughlin, B & ES Director, opened proceedings, telling guests: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to welcome you to the 2015 HVR Awards; which the Building & Engineering Services Association is proud to sponsor for the sixth year in succession. These awards celebrate innovation in our sector. They recognise and reward companies that demonstrate excellence in their field, outstanding technology or, for the first time this year, exceptional customer service in the way they operate or in what they produce.

'Of course, events like this need sponsors and, although I’m representing the Building & Engineering Services Association, I would also like to give a shout out to our category sponsors this evening.  Please show your appreciation for The ACR Show; Ambirad; Combat HVAC; Condair; Marflow Hydronics; Reznor; Smedegaard; and Stokvis Energy Systems.”

McLaughlin and HVR editor Heather Ramsden thanked the judges, who had the tough job of selecting the winners and runners up: BSRIA Principal Research Engineer Dr Arnold Teekaram; ICOM director, Ross Anderson; FETA's commercial manager Martyn Cooper and Jack McDavid, Head of Communications & Public Affairs, B&ES.

Commenting on the awards, editor, Heather Ramsden said 'Congratulations to all our winners and runners up who were finally revealed last night in a glittering celebration at the plush Chelsea Harbour Hotel.  The HVR Awards, now in its sixth year, is growing from strength to strength and is becoming one of the most hotly contested in the industry. The high standard of entries meant judges were presented with one of the toughest challenges yet to find the most worthy winners. In the end the rightful victors were chosen and the industry celebrated in style'.
