Hoval is to sponsor building services engineer Jamie Poole in the 2011 Ducati 848 Challenge, which runs as a support race to the British Superbike Championship.
Mr Poole is a mechanical engineer with building services consultant BSD, based at its Corby office. He is also an experienced rider who has competed in many other championships. He now makes a return to Ducati, having previously raced in Ducati 999 in the Superstock 1000 Championship.
He commented: 'It is the sponsors that make all this possible and enable me to focus on my riding, so I am very grateful to Hoval and Building Services Design for their support in this venture.'
Hoval sales and marketing director Ian Dagley added: 'Jamie is a talented rider who has the potential to do well in this Championship and we are delighted to be able to support him. And we look forward to his regular appearances on the winners' podium.'
The Ducati 848 Challenge comprises eight meetings with 16 races that will be held between April and September. Four times world champion Carl Fogarty will be attending the events as an ambassador for Ducati and the series.
