Hoval highlights importance of ongoing aftercare

Heating manufacturer Hoval is warning that many organisations seeking to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions are underestimating the value of ongoing aftercare to optimise the performance of their heating plant.

The company’s Ian Dagley said: “Having made a major investment in energy efficient heating plant, some end users are often tempted to tighten their purse strings when it comes to service and maintenance. Maintenance regimes that just meet regulatory requirements are a false economy that could well increase the lifecycle costs of the equipment.

He added: “In contrast, a comprehensive maintenance strategy will pay its way by ensuring ongoing efficiency and longer plant life, as well as safety and reliability – which all adds up to a better return on investment.”

Hoval offers a range of service plans for its gas, oil and biomass boilers, CHP units, solar thermal systems and heat pumps. Customers can select the plan that best suits their needs and selected contracts include free installation of the TopTronicE Gateway box to provide remote access to plant via the Hoval app.
