Southampton-based building services firm Henderson Green has been ranked one of UK’s best employers, in a newly-published best boss guide.
The Good Employer Guide 2008 has just been released by Building Magazine and names Henderson Green is in the top five of small business employers out of 7,500 companies that entered.
The independent survey, carried out anonymously, was judged on how employees rated their companies in terms of social responsibility, fun, leadership and innovation. Henderson Green excelled in the categories of ‘ability of staff to contribute’ and ‘smarter working’, scoring 8/10 & 7/10 satisfaction - 20% better than the top 75 list average.
Rob Pratt, Henderson Green’s director said, “What makes the results of the survey so important is not only that we fought off fierce competition, but that it is based solely on the team’s opinions. We are delighted that Henderson Green’s success as a good employer has been publicly acknowledged,” added Pratt.
