Steve Rickards has been appointed commercial director for Heatrae Sadia Heating and Baxi Group New Build & New Design.
Heatrae Sadia appoints commercial director
This is a new position created following a strategic review of the future of the water heating market and new build housing sectorby Heatrae Sadia and its parent company Baxi Group UK.
Paul Rivett, managing director of Heatrae Sadia, explained: 'As a result of this review, the roles of Heatrae Sadia sales and marketing director and sales director for New Build & New Design have been merged into one new position of commercial director.
'This will position us to take advantage of the changes in the new build housing sector, which will see an increase in the demand for hot water storage cylinders as legislation drives the low and zero carbon technologies market.'
Mr Rickards has 24 years experience in the heating and water heating industry having started his career in sales and marketing with Eastern Electricity. Before this new appointment, he was the sales director of Baxi Group New Build & New Design. He was previously national sales manager for Heatrae Sadia and also sales director for Megaflo prior to its acquisition by Heatrae Sadia in 1993.
