Getting a regular income from Feed-in Tariffs

A seminar on how to take full advantage of the regular and reliable income now available from generating renewable energy is being held on September 21 2010 at BRE in Watford.
Since April 1, 2010 this long-term source of funding has been available to all those producing electricity in their own buildings - from solar, wind and other renewable power - through the Government's Feed-in Tariffs (FITs) scheme. Tariffs are available both for generating the energy used in the building, and for any extra that is produced and supplied to the grid.

The seminar is particularly designed to help occupants, managers and owners of large buildings and estates, who are well-placed to take advantage of FITS and receive significant payments.

Delivered by independent experts, the seminar will explain how to become involved in the FITs scheme, the energy generating options available, and the most appropriate options for particular sites.

It will advise on planning issues, practical design considerations, financing options, making a business case for joining the scheme, getting best value from suppliers, and other associated issues including the forthcoming Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) - a similar scheme for heat generating technologies.
