The Gas Safe Register is looking for organisations to pledge their support for the first Gas Safety Week that will take place between the 12 - 18 September.
The theme for the week will be 'Take care, be Gas Safe' to encourage homeowners to take care of their gas appliances with regular servicing and safety checks to ensure they are 'gas safe' this winter. The high-profile week of national advertising, promotions and events aims to encourage stakeholders, registered engineers, consumers and the media to focus on gas safety.
The Gas Safe Register says it has already achieved greater gas safety awareness by working with stakeholders to deliver vital gas safety information to reduce the level of unsafe gas work.
Companies wishing to pledge support for the Gas Safety Week can complete the supporters form to receive resources to help inform customers, clients, members or other audiences. These include leaflets and posters, and a Gas Safety Week supporter's page on the Gas Safe Register website.
