Fujitsu launches Dublin training centre

Fujitsu has opened a new training centre dedicated to the air conditioning sector at its offices in Dublin.

Fujitsu has opened a new training centre dedicated to the air conditioning sector at its offices in Dublin.

The launch of the new training facility underlines the company’s commitment to training. Sales and marketing director Ian Carroll said: “We are committed to training to help raise standards throughout the industry and have invested heavily in our state of the art training facilities in Elstree and now Dublin.”

Although the new centre has not yet been officially opened, the demand for training has meant that it is already running courses.  All courses are taught by the company’s highly skilled in-house engineers who all have many years’ experience working with Fujitsu products.

The firm has developed a specific range of courses designed and created to help develop engineers’ knowledge in designing and installing Fujitsu air conditioning products and their ideal applications.

The current range of courses includes:

  • An introduction to the Fujitsu product portfolio
  • Split and Multi-Split System (inc.8 room multi) – Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and service tool
  • Mini VRF – Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
  • VRF system application and design including design simulator
  • Design simulator (software only) – new
  • VRF system installation and commissioning
  • VRF advanced service and troubleshooting including service tool
  • VRF central controllers - installation and commissioning
  • AHU DX kit options – design, installation and commissioning – new

The courses are proving popular, with the training facilities impressing many contractors in the region.

Fujitsu training manager Martyn Ives said: “The new training facility in Dublin was a much needed asset; it is well equipped to provide all the necessary training to support a well-established product. All our courses are free of charge and available throughout the year. Each delegate receives a certificate upon completion and a complete set of technical manuals.”
