The Midlands branch of the Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA) is hoping for a sell-out bumper fund raiser at this year's Christmas Ball.
Taking place at Birmingham's ICC on Friday, December 17, 2010, the black tie dinner is a key fund raiser in the branch's annual calendar of events. There will be a live band and disco, and there's even a casino for those who like to try their luck at the gaming tables.
EEIBA is a national charity which provides advice and help for needy and distressed individuals who work or have worked in the in the electrical, electronics and allied industries.
Stewart Gregory, director of Schneider Electric and EEIBA Midlands branch president, said: 'There's still a few places left for our Christmas Ball and we're confident we'll sell all available tables for what promises to be a fantastic night. In addition, there's still a few sponsorship packages available for companies who might like to take advantage of the opportunity.'
Pat Sheldrake, EEIBA's head of fundraising operations, added: 'Like all charities, we realise times are tough for everyone, but we are sure our supporters in Birmingham will be as generous in 2010 as they always are. As an organisation we rely heavily on the support and hard work of our branches to enable us to continue our work throughout the year.'
